About Mountain Goat Tack

Hi my name is Emily, I am the owner and founder of mountain Goat Tack. I started this company awhile back. I have hopes to reach other horse people and equine enthusiasts like me. Everything I sell is cruelty free. I have scents that are for everyone.                                       

I started making body butters and other products awhile back. I Have sensitive skin, dry skin, and eczema. I would buy lotion but it didn't seem to help. It felt like all it would do is sit on the top of my skin, but not feel softer or more moisturized. I then discovered body butter. I bought some and they did seem to work better but my skin still felt dry and not very soft. 

I then started to look up different butters and oils. Ones that would be nourishing and moisturizing to skin. I found that the ingredients that are in most body butters are very basic. I wanted more nourishing oils and butters. So I made my own recipe and tired it out. I found that my skin started feeling more soft and supple. I also found that my skin didn't itch as much. 

All the products I make are made the only high quality ingredients and you can tell that when you touch and smell them. I make sure that the fragrances I buy smell amazing and smell like they are supposed too and the way I envisioned. I have spent many months to perfect what I sell and they all go into testing to make sure they measure up to what they are supposed to. 

I have been using my own products exclusively now. I also make products for me and my family. I am very careful to not add too much fragrance and too much pigment, as these can cause irritation to skin, eyes, and respiratory system. Too much fragrance can cause people that have asthma to have a reaction. Too much fragrance can also cause people to have headaches or even migraines. 

I am always trying to improve my products and release the best I can. If I wouldn't use it there is no way I would sell it. I take pride in my products and I will only sell the best of the best. These company and these products are all a labour of love. Every thing I make and sell is made with love. 

This is more than a business, this is a passion. I have put so much time into my product and my labels. I designed my labels as well as my products. I have put a lot of time into my design as well as a good product.
